•  Hold the Tenth Check as shown in the diagram.
•  From the base of the bottle to approximately
•  level with the bottle neck.

•  Then check the level of the liquid against the
•  Tenth Check using the marker nearest.

Example:

(a) - the level would read as nine tenths
(b) - the level would read as six tenths

. Use the Silver Tenth Check for bottles 70cl
   to 1.5 litres

. Use the Gold Tenth Check for bottles 1.5 litres
   to 4.5 litres

Note:
The Tenth Check makes allowances for the different thickness of the bottle at the base and at the neck and adequately accommodates for odd shaped bottles thus providing a consistent stock analysis on bottles of the same shape and size.
